Dental tourists enjoying the beach in Belize

Take your smile from dull to dazzling with beautiful porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges and implants at a fraction of what it would cost you at home!

Each year millions of people worldwide travel to other countries for better medical and dental treatment at lower costs. Millions more would do the same thing if they only knew where to go.

Why are people going offshore for dental care?

Offshore Dentist

In the US 120 million people have no dental insurance and in a recent study by the CDC 25-million Americans said that they currently need dental treatment but have not gotten it because the cost is too high. In Canada dental costs rose by 60% in 10 years!

Even those with insurance are often not covered for restorative treatments they want and need…. veneers, crowns, bridges and implants… many imagine those are only for the rich and famous. But if you know where to go those treatments don’t have to be expensive.

Fred hadn't smiled in years; one look at his broken and decayed teeth told us why... His dentist in Washington State had given him an estimate of $17,000. Fred's first visit to a state-of-the-art, and spotless offshore dental clinic here convinced him to get started on his dental work right away—and only cost him $3,000. Even with traveling expenses Fred saved well over $10,000 and had a beautiful smile at the end of his treatment.

Dental Tourism

For decades Europeans have crossed into former Eastern Bloc countries to save bundles of Euros on dental care.

Hungary is now being called the dental capital of the world with some of the biggest dental universities and entire towns devoted to providing dental care for visiting “Tooth Tourists.”

Others are flocking to Thailand and India for cosmetic dental procedures that they could never afford back home.

But you don’t have to take a transcontinental flight or deal with a foreign language to take advantage of great low-cost dental care. A 2-hour flight from the US will get you to English-speaking Belize where the weather is balmy even in winter.

Hotel accommodations on the beach

The fact is that medical/dental costs are so low in Belize you can actually pay all your travel expenses, including a Caribbean beach condo, and still pay thousands of dollars less than if you’d had the treatment at home!

Sound too good to be true?

Offshore Dental Clinic

The costs of running a clinic offshore are a fraction of what they are in North America; therefore, the prices are also a fraction. Doctors do not need to staff employees to deal with the mountains of paperwork, which some healthcare experts claim can raise the cost of care by up to 80%!

Doctors in this part of the world are not required to carry outrageously expensive malpractice insurance. Doctors and dentists guarantee their work and if you’re not pleased they fix it for free.

Can I relate to doctors from another culture?

Belize is an English speaking country so doctors and dentists are native English speakers, with charming Caribbean accents.

Picture of Ken and audio link to his story “I saved $3,000 . . .
All the procedures I had cost $2,150. This would have cost at least $6,000 in the US. So between the airfare and the hotel… I figure I’m saving about $3,000 doing it this way...
I’ll definitely come back to Belize for a vacation and for more dental work.”                  —Ken Heutmaker Seattle, WA
